Are the treatments painful?

The treatments are well tolerated by patients, with minimal discomfort, in some cases requiring local anesthesia, in a comfortable environment. Occasionally, some patients are given a mild sedative by mouth to relieve anxiety and help with relaxation.

How is the diagnosis and treatment process?

The first is a specialized medical consultation, where an interview will be held, where you can explain your symptoms, resolve your doubts and expectations. We will emphasize your history and rule out contraindications to the procedures. A clinical examination will also be carried out, which will be recorded in your medical history. Subsequently, a color Doppler ultrasound is performed to plan the optimal treatment according to your needs. If you agree, we will schedule the appropriate procedure, which will be performed on an outpatient basis. In some cases, the use of local anesthesia and later bandages or gradient stockings may be required, in order to optimize the results. You will walk out of the office on your own. It does not require disability.
